Xue Yanqun (薛 雁 群 / 중국,1953~ )   Xue Yanqun, born in Dalian, China. He graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Art, in 1981and remained to teach there. Later he completed the graduate study and received a Master of Fine Art in 1989, he was a professor and the member of Chinese Artist's Association. More than 260 of his works have been shown in China and overseas exhibitions since 1984. He won a silver medal, two bronze and some honorary rewards in these exhibitions. Six pieces of his works were shown and sold in the auctions of Christie's Swire in Hongkong and Taipei. More than 300 pieces of his oil paintings have been collected by Chinese National Art Gallery and overseas art galleries and private collectors. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * [註, 문계] 이 화가는 중국 요동성 대련(大蓮, Dalian) 출생 이름을 한국어로 발음으로 설안군(薛雁群) 궂이 이름을 풀이하면 '기러기 떼' 라는 뜻. 1981년 중국 선양(瀋陽)에서 미술대학(Lu xun Fine Art Academy) 졸업- MFA 학위 얻은후, 그 대학에서 교수를 역임하다. 260 여 작품을 중국 및 세계 여러 곳에 선보였으며 많은 수상 경력 중국 유화학회 회원. 중국을 대표하는 사실주의 화가 격이다. 세계 각지에서 많은 전시회를 열었으며 크리스티에서도 6 점이 경매, 300 여 点이 국립중국미술관과 개인들에게 소장되어 있다.                                           Incantato ("마음은 어디에나") [文 溪]
